This happy little elephant will gladly deliver birthday greetings. I used white card stock for the card. I then cut dark pink card stock 1/4 inch smaller than the white card. I next cut a pick card stock 1/4/ inch smaller than the dark pink. I wrapped the ribbon around the pink card and glued it . I stamped the little elephant on white card stock and colored him using stampin up inks. I punched some flowers and attached them to the four cornors and put rhinestones in the center of the flowers. I cut a piece of pink ribbon across the bottom of the card and put the greeting with the oval scalloped base and plain oval. Plain , easy and simple.

Made this cute Thank You card . I used a pre made card and added the red card stock. On top of that I used a white card stock I had stamped the Thanks verse. I used flowers to accent the card on the lower left hand corner. Up on the right I guled a metal heart and tied a bow to the center with red ribbon. I used the stickems to hold everything. I added some rhinestones tot he ribbon and heart.

Don't ask . I have this large bag of buttons and have to use them somehow. I figured a catipillar would do. I used a piece of yarn to string the buttons together. Then using a flowered card i blued the cute little guy to the card. I put some green dots all over the buttons . I put the greeding using the punch sets of the scalloped oval and the plain oval. I added a gift on the left using dimentions. Quick, easy and fast.

I still have one thing to add to this card. I used a premade card. I stamped the fish from a set I had. Then I stamped the fishing line on the same color. I punched the greetings and used brown brads to mount the greeting. I used dimentions to attach the fish and the greetings. Then I used the crystal effect on the fish that makes them shinny. I will be adding a fish hook with some twine attached on the lower left.

How about fishing in Louisiana. I used the stamp of of the fishing boys. I changed the scenery by using my cat tail stamp around the boat I used a tan card . Onto that I glued a dark brown card stock 1/4 inch smaller than the card. I next cut a striped scrapbook paper 1/4 ince smaller than the brown card stock. I also drew a cypress tree on the stripped paper. To give more dimention I added some of this silky string yarn to look like moss. I next glued the happy birthday greeting to the left.

Boogie Man in the sky on my way home.

This card was requested by a mom for her daughter who just became engaged. I used white card stock cut to the size of the envelope I had. I then used gray card stock as the background and white as the work area. I used the stamp from Stampin-up for the center design. I put tiny white pearls in the curling tips of the design. I placed two white flowers at each side. I placed the design on a piece of white card stock 1/4 " smaller than the gray cardstock . I then printed the wording for the top and bottom again using white and gray card stock. I had the black ribbon in my box and the design fit with the design on the card. At the fold of the card on the gray area, I placed a piece of black ribbon that I had knotted in several places( Tying the knot.) Inside I used a piece of gray and white for the wording by the mother. Very simple card, easy to make but elegant.

Hoppy Birthday

Excited frogs get to deliver birthday greetings. I used one piece of card stock to just fit my card and cut three squares to place my greeting and the frogs. The frogs are on dimentions

How is this pretty little girl. She is on two layers of card stock. I used the little hole brackets to punch on the left side of the card and ran a piece of paper ribbon through it and made a bow. I then glued everything to the card and added the birthday wish.

A simple red headed country girl bringing birthday wishes. Button flowers as accents and stitching lines around her picture.

What is better than a fishing trip with a buddy. I used a premade red card. I cut the gray and brown card stock to layer and then the picture on top. I used chalk to color and then put three dark colored brads as accent, I attached a cute charm of a fish on one of the fishing lines. I used a bait stamp to make the birthday blessing. I made two and used dimentions to seperate them.

TO CUTE

This is one of the pre designed cards that you can purchase by the box . I wanted to find a way to use these also . I used a pink card stock for my base and cut scallops around the edge. Next I used a red piece of card stock and used a punch that I have that can make two different cuts. I used the rounded scallop edge on the points of my red card stock. Next i used the Penny Black picture I printed and cut it to fit the red card stock. I used the same punch and cut a different design on the corners. I placed a tiny pearl at each corner and added a bright pink bow. I thought the card looked really old timey and I loved it.

VALENTINES DAY

Another holiday will be here soon. Valentines. I did this one on my own. I used the metal spellbinders and cut out several different size hearts. I then used one of my punches to make the scallop design. I glued the red checked looking heart first and then placed my ribbon through the white heart and wrapped it around the card. (just to show how things get away from you --I was suppose to actually cut out another card 1/4 " smaller and glue the heart and ribbon to that , but my hands were ahead of my mind and it got put on the care itsele so I had to be creative). I used dimentions under the top part if the heart to really make it stand out . I then cut some small white rosies I had and tucked them into the ribbon that I tied on the bottom of the card. Using glitter sticky letters I spelled out " Be Mine". Another card for the bubble envelope.

EASTER TIME

Easter will be here soon so I have been putting together a few cards . This one I did a trim of white rick rack and held it in place with brads I then glued my picture in the center and used some of that tissue paper to make the grass and the grass under the word Easter. I think it came out cute , The picture is from Penny Black.

NEW BEGININGS FOR 2011

Well what can I say except that I got into the dark moods and went with the dark colors . I like these jars for some reason and had to do something different. I was just passing time and going through all the paper on my counter, ( oh yes , everything is out and just stacked everywhere) and just grabbed a paper here and a paper there. Kind of like a jambalaya, a little bit of everything left over. I would have to use the bubble envelope because of the flowers but what the heck. It was a pass time when I was bored and wanted to do something. I like it.

RENEE'S SUPPORT TEAM

FINALIZE 2010

What can I say except that I am so glad that 2010 has gone on its way. My daughter is still taking her treatments for her Melanoma Cancer. She goes three times a week now and will continue till November . She is doing well and has such strength. I have not heard her complain one time. I have to ask if she needs something or help of any kind. I adore her and she is the very breath of my body. I will always be there for her , her children and her husband. He has

been a real source of strength for her. He has been with her constantly and is part of her support team. I don't know if she could go through this without him. That makes him the second most precious person in my life. He loves her and she loves him. I am forever grateful that those two found each other. The children are another thing that gives her strength.
